Alberi EcoTech focuses on a pragmatic, three-tiered approach to product environmental compliance. This fundamentally unique and powerful service, led by Krista Crotty, empowers companies to lead the charge towards product environmental compliance on their own terms. At Alberi EcoTech, we envision three phases to environmental compliance, each of which builds on top of the other: education, preparation, and documentation. By educating all levels of the company, employees see how the directive(s) affect their specific work giving them a sense of empowerment when working on compliance. The team is then able to update its policies and procedures to create technical compliance files for all products the company designs and manufactures.
We assist companies in all three phases of environmental compliance. Ultimately, the service provides a path to proving due diligence in complying with environmental directives. Current customers include companies in medical devices, life sciences, avionics, networking & communications, computers and peripherals, component manufacturers and other supply chain entities, as well as household appliances.

Preparation
Alberi has developed a proven process to prepare companies to meet current and future legislated environmental directives. We teach you the steps to develop and maintain a complete product environmental compliance program, with the autonomous oversight an auditor expects. If you prefer, we can provide guidance and oversight at each step of the way, or run the program for your company. Let us help you create a clear, cost-effective approach to product environmental compliance. We assess your products and policies against industry best practices, enforcement agency expectations and current legislation to highlight areas that require action or improvement. We give you specific suggestions and develop customized strategies for aligning your products with current requirements. Not sure where your program is deficient? Let us assist you in preparing my auditing your program as an enforcement agency would. This is a detailed audit with a detailed review of your program and systems; not just a paper audit.
Like having an accountant review your taxes, our service gives you insight on how to avoid common mistakes. In the cases where the expertise or service are not available internally, we offer a network of professions eager to help you implement your strategy efficiently.
Documentation
Product Assessments and TCFs
Product Assessments are written evaluations created as part of a comprehensive compliance strategy to determine how and where products fit within the scope of a given directive. Each assessment also covers whether or not a product has applicable exemptions.
Technical Compliance Files, or TCFs, contain all the documents necessary to support your products’ conformity to a given environmental directive. It includes legally auditable items which may include corporate environmental or social responsibility statements, materials declaration forms, analytical information, risk assessments of suppliers, and other data reflective of the product being void of any restricted substances. The TCF is your best line of protection against legal investigations of your regulatory compliance. We can prepare a comprehensive and up-to-date TCF for maintenance by your internal compliance team, or we can manage the program for you. Just let us know how you want to handle the project.
